Performing together for the first time ever are two local americana/roots bands, led by songwriting duos Danny & Essence and Lynne & Hank of Nashville Honeymoon, who both create classic country and honky-tonk music for our modern times. These Bay Area couples bring the best of country music duets to life: think George and Tammy, Loretta and Conway, Waylon and Jessi – then mix in original tunes that run the gamut from desire to domesticity, and add a large dose of musical chemistry to top it off. Essence and Lynne met while performing as part of the Loretta Lives! Tribute show which recently toured the Bay Area, and realized that their musical collaborations with their on- and off-stage partners was a match made in heaven.
