Oakland-based artist Holly Tzeigon-Whitaker has been writing soul-stirring songs under the moniker Kalinders since 2019. Garnering inspiration from her upbringing on 60’s folk and 70’s classic rock, as well as her love of soul, jazz and blues, Tzeigon-Whitaker has crafted a catalog of classic yet contemporary tunes, her rich and reaching voice at the foreground. Captivating melodies seduce listeners into Kalinders’ wistful and storied world — one where longing meets catharsis.
